SOFTWARE DATA CABLE TO TRANSFER DATA TO ANDROID WITHOUT ANY CABLE

Software Data Cable
Do you want to transfer your files from PC to your Android phone or vice-versa. Software Data Cable for Android transfer your all data without any cable. It works on Wi-Fi signal.
Before that I told you about Similar app AirDroid which allow you to manage your Android device wirelessly.

HOW IT WORKS:

Install “Software Data Cable” app in your phone/tablet and connect it to the wireless router/gateway. Connect your PC/Laptop to the same wireless router/gateway either through Wi-Fi or Cable.
When the “Software Data Cable” on the Android devices are started, other devices can now connect to the Android device (via Windows Explorer) or FTP client software (such as FileZilla) to exchange data.

TUTORIAL TO CONNECT TO THE ANDROID DEVICE VIA WINDOWS EXPLORER:

  1. Start the app in your device and tap on “Start Service” button
  2. Copy the URL as display in the app
  3. Open Windows Explorer and paste the URL in address bar
  4. Now your PC/laptop is connected to your device.
  5. Start transferring files by using simple Cut/Copy/paste method

TUTORIAL TO CONNECT TO THE ANDROID DEVICE VIA FTP CLIENT (FILEZILLA):

  1. Start the app in your device and tap on “Start Service” button
  2. Copy the URL as display in the app
  3. Open the FileZilla FTP Client on your PC/laptop
  4. Input the address and port as shown in screenshot below
  5. Click on “QuickConnect
  6. Now your PC/laptop is connected to your device.
  7. Start transferring files

Other than this, the app comes with File Manager where you can manage your files right from the app, no other file manager apps required. The app is freely available in the Android Market and required Android 1.6 and greater.
